1st November 2010 - New Intrepid Blackbelts!
Many congratulations to Miss. Lynsey Averill for successfully passing her 2nd Degree Black Belt
examination. Many congratulations also go to Mr. Conner Harvey and Mr. Scott Gowens who also
successfully passed their 1st Degree Black Belt examination.
Finally, congratulations to Mr. Scott Baillie, who has stepped closer to his 3rd Degree Black belt by passing his 2.3 milestone grading.
The students were graded by Master David Brown (VII) at Armadale Academy on October 30th and 31st 2010. This followed an intensive seminar attended by other senior coloured belts and blackbelts from the Federation. Also present from Intrepid where Mr. Scott Baillie, Mr. Derek West, Mrs. Lorraine Anderson, Miss. Susan Dundas and Mr. Ryan McCluskey.
The seminar started at 9.30am, and the grading finally completed around 5pm! The grading tested all technical aspects of patterns, technical kicking, sparring, power tests and theory knowledge.
A long day, with tired muscles and minds all round, but the fantastic result made it all worth while.
